Grangegorman Development Agency – Strategic Planning Advice into Various Works

2008 – 2012
Redevelopment of a c.28.69ha site to provide accommodation for the relocated DIT. New and Improved healthcare facilities for the HSE and a range of ancillary accommodation up to 380,000sqm in total. TPA led the team involved on this major project and provided Strategic Planning Advice to the Grangegorman Development Agency, advising the Client on Planning Options to provide up to 380,000sqm of mixed use development at the Grangegorman site.

Grangegorman Development Agency Environmental Report

TPA prepared the request to the Government for SDZ designation. TPA led the subsequent Planning Scheme preparation process and preparation of the associated Environmental Report and AA Screening. TPA also led the response to Third Party appeals against the Planning Scheme. Tom led the preparation of the GDA’s multi-disciplinary team for the Oral Hearing and also led the team’s presentation at the Oral Hearing. This involved interactive workshops prior to the Oral Hearing at which key issues were identified and appropriate team members tasked with preparing the relevant presentation. During the OH the key evidence from each day was analysed overnight and the team members briefed on any emerging issues
