The proposed development sought permission for 55 No. apartments comprising a high-quality residential scheme arranged over two blocks (Blocks A and B), which was five storeys in height with a residential density of 141 units / ha. It also sought permission for retail and office uses at the ground floor level of the scheme.

Our Role

Tom Phillips + Associates (TPA) acted as planning consultants to Tecchhus Ltd, providing strategic planning advice to the Applicant and Design Team. We were the key point of contact with the Planning Authority (Fingal County Council).

TPA led all planning aspects of the proposal including: co-ordination of the Application Pack; preparation of the Planning Application documentation; coordination and preparation of the RFI Response; and preparation of a First Party Appeal (against financial contributions only).

Planning Outcome

Fingal County Council issued a Notification of Grant of Permission for the scheme in March 2018. No residential units were omitted and the Decision permitted 55 no. apartments (consisting of 21 no. 1 bedroom units, 30 no. 2 bedroom units and 4 no. 3-bedroom units).
