A major mixed-use scheme, which incorporates a 97 No. bedroom hotel and an 83 No. apart-hotel incorporating the former Iveagh Markets Protected Structure. The Dublin inner city site of 0.663ha hectares is of major historical importance and involved careful integration of medieval, Edwardian and contemporary structures. This includes the incorporation of Protected Structures into the scheme - such as part of the former City Wall and the Iveagh Markets.

Planning Outcome

Planning permission was granted for the scheme by An Bord Pleanála on 15th August 2007.

TPA provides strategic planning advice to the Applicant and Design Team, and has served as the Agent for both the Planning Application and subsequent Appeal stages. Tom Phillips + Associates prepared and coordinated a detailed Environmental Impact Assessment and Retail Report.
