An Bord Pleanála has granted permission for the comprehensive redevelopment of the ESB’s HQ complex at Fitzwilliam Square.

In addition to new build, the Scheme includes the restoration of several Protected Structures.

In its Decision of 15 September 2015, the Board has confirmed Dublin City Council’s decision to grant permission, but re-instated upper floor levels that the Council had removed in its earlier Decision.

The gross floorspace of the development will be c.47,097 sq m (506,964 sq ft) on a site of some 1.16 ha (2.9 acres).

The principal architects of the Scheme are Grafton Architects and O’Mahony Pike Architects.  Tom Phillips + Associates provided town planning services to the Project.
